Dick,
That's already been happening. Each can is wrapped in newspaper and I'm pulling them out a few at a time, draining, cleaning and putting on the shelf in alphabetical order. So I've actually had to move cans over and down to get to the top shelf or up higher. If I had a place to set them all out once they were ready, I could alphabetize them and put them up.

The worst part about all of this is draining the cans. I had them out in my garage and they were really cold so the oil seemed to take forever to drain. I had to start bringing about 10 at a time to warm them up so the oil would drain faster.

I love the looks I get from my wife when she sees me rinsing out the last bit of oil from a can in her kitchen sink! Try draining oil cans in the kitchen while your wife is making dinner and see how that goes! Too funny!

Great display and in alpha too. I like the recess construction of it. Have you conciderd like a soft illuminated track lighting? It looks like you might be doing a little arranging again as you find some Richfield!

Would it be too much to ask for a front and back closeup of the wareco can?

Thanks for the compliments. I have just (7) more cans to drain and then I'm done. I ran out of kitty litter containers. They work great for draining cans.

Oilmanpat,
Here's a front and back pic of the can. Sorry about the glare.

Doc,
I figured you'd have something to say about the Invader quarts. I think you have may the market cornered on Invader quarts! LOL

Rather than add new cans, I think I'm going to sell ones I don't want to finance the ones that I've had my eye on.

I really want to find a minty Pep Boys quart to add to the shelf.

Thanks
Mac
