Does anybody have any extra bottoms for the gas pump salt & pepper shakers or has anybody ever reproduced them?

I don't have any extras, but I do have a few shakers with home-made bottoms that need to be replaced. I'd be interested in knowing where you could get some new ones also.

Jarvis, would be the one to ask. When I collected s&p shakers, the difference in price between complete sets and those with one or both bottoms missing was at times unbelievable. I never ran across anyone selling just the bottoms. They are the first thing lost, even before the decals were rubbed off.

Jack and Advertologist , if you have a Hobby Town U S A near by you can actually buy a kit to do your own in resin plastic . The kit goes by the name of Alluminite . The kit contains enough material to do a small mold/s and about a half ounce of resin/ hardner for about 35.00. They also have a web page but I don't have a link to it currently , Hobbytown . Alluminite has a page too. Ive been making gasoline pumps in 1-24th scale using their kits and results have been pretty good . Ive since gone to some more professional items they have but for starters , go with Aluminite .
If nessesary give me a P - M or an e- mail . My e-mail is still edshaver @ ymail.com Ed Shaver

Jack,
What colors are your bottoms?

It's easy to just buy cheap esso shakers with no decals for $1 on ebay and use the bases. 1 red and 1 blue.

I just buy a cheap set of common shakers on Ebay the color I need and rob the bottoms off and resell the body of the shakers.
