Hi. I hardly ever buy signs as they are typically out of my price range but I buy absolutely tons of smalls. Today driving around I found a guy with a pair of Metro pump signs - green line all around edge - about 10" wide and 5" high - says they are NOS and they look it. Dated hmmm cant remember something like 41 or 43in the lower left corner. Thanks for any info you can provide. John

Those signs are Mobil's economical grade of gasoline.
Those signs were made during the war, probably to
conserve metal. IMO .... 150.

I had a stack of 1941 METRO pump plates about three years ago and I was selling them for $30-$40 each. None were perfect, but all were NOS.
Kind of plain, but I like tin signs because they didn't last as long and I think they are getting even harder to find than porcelain.

There is other METRO stuff out there too.

There have been some sold on EBAY lately, but I didn't follow up on how much they went for. Do they still have a feature you can bring up past sales? Richard
