In an earlier post I spoke of getting my first 36-B. I normally do my pumps as Texaco. I would be intersted in seeing what you other oldgassers have turned your 36 pumps into. Thanks.

DB-- Thanks for posting the pic of yours.

For those who are not aware fo it, Dick's pump is on display in the California Oil Museum in Santa Paula, CA.

Alex-- I'm doing the twin to the one Dick has--same colors--for me. I'm also doing one in 30's Union Oil motiff. Slamma has very good repro decals. The base will be a dark blue as well as the spears on all four pieces of sheet metal. The sheetmetal pieces will be Mercedes light ivory (a cream color) up to the door face bezels on all four pieces and the rest of the pump sheet metal will be dark blue. Should be dazzling. I've thought of doing 1 of my 36B porcelain body pumps w/ Alum. Diamond Plate or Brushed Stainless & Black.

Bad scan...Not a B
I did the 36 and the 62
Ever NOTICE you don't see too many pumps done in PAN-AM?
This one came from the "lost" PAN-AM bulk plant we found about 20 yrs ago.
It took several years to find the right computer.

This pic was taken about 15 yrs ago wink

Dave: you are right about getting booted. LOL I sure like what everyone has done. If I do it as a Texaco I may add some creative touches to it.....

I've had the pair of Shell pumps for about 15 years and had the red "can front", I think pretty rare pump, restored about 8-10 years ago.

Are you asking for pictures of the 36 or the 36B?

Personal opinion, but I think the 36's look better without a globe.

Here's a restored Tokheim 36B with real globe on top. If every thing works out it will be sitting in my living room soon. just wanted to share.
