Thanks! I thought I did good! It kind of hinged on how far it was to pick it up! about 2 hours away! even though I wanted to wait until after the hollidays!

Do they sell the parts for retracting the hose? is it a cable and weight? I need to get a nozzle, hose, globe, and signs for the bottom.I bought the lead warning signs on E bay yesterday.I also want to take off the hose side pieces and clean them up and paint them a different color! perhaps silver! thats my plan! then it goes in front of the garage!

You know what happens next don't ya?? You'll look at that single, lonely old pump out by the garage and pretty soon you'll spot another one, thinking the other one needs company! Pretty soon, it'll be like a 40 year class reunion and there'll be pumps all over!! LOL--Get Ready for the madness!!

Thats why I have 2 cabinets in my living room! After I had one there I quickly said I need one for the other side! The 2nd one took calls to 9 different Menards! Then after I had one reserved, picked it up, and came home, opened the box, and it was missing the globe!! damm! Call them back, [now it's a quest!] he called another store and reserved the globe! When Menards sold these a few years ago, they flew out of the store! Now they are more than double online! Look at my other post for the mancave pic! The motor table was another quest!

Hi Von,
You did just fine. Here's your market report from Tumble Weed city. If I was going to retail that pump, I'd put some repop signs on it and add a hose and nozzle and price it in the $800 range;maybe more after I saw the inside of it. Good buy!!

That shelf insert is really cool! as to what the inside looks like,it's stripped of all the pump stuff! he had a TV inside the top. The best part for me is that it go's with my '64' Galaxie since the last time it was used was 1965.
