This looks to be an older soilder seam can. Colors look orange? Perhaps that is what drove the price up. He has some rare cans so I would guess there was something unique about it.

This can is tough to find in good condition and I would say that the price on the outboard if fair.

Ya learn something every day! I wasn't aware there was an orange one until the one on ebay brought so much money and then along comes a "GREEN" one that easily tops the orange one. Nice to see that the rarer stuff still brings a lot of attention!
