The rusty tall quart came from my wife's family's shed 30 years ago when we were in high school. The Mixing can is the cleanest one of those I think I ever saw.

here`s some of my cans,,the little 3oz oiler is very rare and seldom seen,,i was lucky enough to get one this yr,, nice to see another maytag collector,,i have all the cans you have and looking for some with the green ribbon accross front..txs alan

here`s another maytag engine model 92 with original exhaust system,,i didn`t show the exhaust system cause i have them packed away for winter,,i belong to the maytag collectors club and go to various engine shows during the summer and show the engines,,,txs alan

I used to work for Maytag in the early 90s. When they shut down the factory here in Galesburg I know at the auctions around here you could not give Maytag stuff away. My wives Dad works at the one in Newton Iowa now. I like seeing the stuff but have never bought any myself. Both of your collections look good. Alan those engines are sweet

wow brad that was cool you worked there,,what a experience,,,,maytag stuff is stiil highly sought after and the cans bring real good money especially the engines ,you can`t believe what some of them are going for these days,,,we had a show 2 yrs agao in kansas and they featured maytag and boy we saw some rare stuff,,one guy had a original maytag racer that was really cool...if i can get it together i will post a picture..txs alan

I have a couple of engines in parts at my Mom's house too. I also have a crate of NOS engine parts that I bought from an appliance parts store 30 years age when I was in high school. One note on the mixing cans I think the ones with the straight spout were new inthe late 1970's when I started buying things. I think they were available from Maytag at some point.

ya your right on the cans,,i knew they were a repo but i got it for almost nothing so i bought it,,, i`m stil looking for cans to finish off and always upgrading to get better ones for my collection...alan
