I was just wondering if anybody knew of PPG codes for shell colors. I was looking at gaspumpcolors.com and even though their prices don't seem to bad they use valspar my body shop sprays ppg and I don't want to start mixing brands. I also don't know the difference between late colors or early colors. I know most match the paint to the decal. I was just wondering if anybody had pics of their pump and PPG codes to match. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't remember if I used West or East coast yellow on mine. Got the code from the resto book. If I had it to do again I would take the color from the decal, that's why there is know decal on the pump, I can't find one to match. Brian
Always looking for SKELLY items.

I have not yet bought a decal so matching it is kinda hard. If anybody has pics with codes I can just order a decal from the same place they got them from. I am really suprised nobody has a database of pics with color codes. Or is that everybodys secret paint formula?

And IF the vendor made a new run of decals, will they be the same color as the last ones ?

Aerojoe, Hopefully included is a photo of my Shell pectin sign, which is the older yellow. Here are some codes that are about as close as you can get today. Shell fleet yellow, PPG #81652 Shell fleet red, PPG #71660 Shell tan, Sikkens solid #418A1 Ed

Rust collector that is a beautiful sign and the colors look great. I think your codes will work good. I am going to paint the door red so unless the decal is 20 shades lighter or darker then I don't think it will be noticeable. Just out of curosity though have you ever tried to match it to a decal?
