Just picked up this sign and I have already fixed the busted arrow. It obviously will need to be painted but I was wondering about the rust spots on the main sign. I dont mind them being there but was concerned they may cause rust stains. Should i put something on them to protect the sign or leave them alone thanks steve

If the sign is going to be inside I would not worry about them. If it is going outside you could put clear on the spots after cleaning them a bit to help decrease the rust. Or you could leave it the ways it is & clean the sign & rust streaks a couple times a year. Also put some car wax on it after you clean it that will make the cleaning easier. If it was mine I would hang it inside. Not in bad shape except the arrows being bent

I'd keep it inside but if it's going outside you could spray it with clear to protect, after a good cleaning of course. I wouldn't touch up as the sign overall is in decent shape, but that's me.

i AM GOING TO HANG THE SIGN OUTSIDE SO i MAY JUST PUT SOME SOME SORT OF CLEARCOAT OVER THE RUSTED AREAS
