Don't know if gptradingco has been covered before but they do sell repo's as originals, maybe intentional, maybe not. They also have some original stuff mixed in.

The John Deere is definetely a re-pop, I suspect the Oliver is also and possibly the Firestone spark plug sign is re-poped or restored as the letter A isn't even finished.

I am definately NOT an expert on signs so would someone who is please tell me how you can tell on the signs listed by the above person. I looked at his auctions, and can't tell myself and the fact he is from Boardman, Ohio not South America. If these are repos, they would have fooled me. Someone please tell me what to look for so I will not get taken in the future. Thanks- Roger

I was looking at the Firestone sign. It always seems odd that a sign could look great on the front and the back looks like someone took a shotgun to it. It could be perfectly legit though. I don't really know how to tell either.

The oliver sign looks real...I had one that was found in a barn, same size and same maker's mark on the back...

The John Deere is a semi-modern repop...

Most stuff looks ok? I agree the Firestone is odd.

I think this seller might mix repo stuff & real stuff together. That helps confuse the buyer. Just beware & if you dont like it or it is fishy stay away smile
