I open this thread because it will be interesting do a list of movies that contains scenes with gas stations, pumps, globe, signs, etc... I would that each of you remember a movie and add at least the title.

Doc; the stooges short is one of my favorites also. one of the few times I've seen the mobil curb signs displayed different than the usual cast iron base and pipe.

Yeah I think we hit this a few times but it is always fun.My fav is the movie IQ with Meg Ryan.It has a old Mobil station with script tops and signage.Theres a few clips in Thunder road where a station blows up. Joe

How about the brief scene in bad day at blackrock with spencer tracy and robert ryan;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;Ron , they don't show this movie often.

Texaco station in "Back to the Future" is pretty cool. Shows the attendants running out to take care of the customer. If only....

Petro pumps, that was the first thing I thought of and also the Western Auto store in that movie as well. There are a couple stations and several signs in one of the greatest movies of all time...Smokey and the Bandit.
