The Sinclair station in Driving Miss Daisy is/was in Lithia Springs GA. about 10 miles from where I grew up in Austell.
It is almost a stones through away from
I-20 & Thorton Rd./ Camp Creek PKWY.
It may be gone now. I was in PA. the week they filmed...D'OH.
The station was already closed for biz , the came in painted , setup pumps and signs, filmed, then left.
There is only a few seconds of it in the movie.

Ive sat here trying to think of one scene from a movie and drew a blank, and you guys came up with all of these? Jack sits in his bathrobe in front of the tube just waiting to hit the record button on his remote to record a pump? Your obsessed, OBSESSED I say!

How about the two pumps standing outside the restaurent in "Green Dried Tomatoes." Actually it shows pumps from many years later also, then what the building look like today. Understand it is somewhere in Alabama and has become a tourest stop.

Texaco station in "Bridges of Madison County." I believe it was in Winterset, Iowa.
