He replied to my first email about a buy it now but hasn't responded after I made an offer. His initial response was--- "Hello: I have so many watchers and questions on these That I think I better just let them run and see what happens. Thank you for asking." I had made a pretty good offer on them, so he must feel they're worth quite a bit more!

Yeah! Good point! I bid on a pair of something, one time and ended up losing the second one because another bidder upped his bid after the first item went off!

Did any Old Gasser get this globe?? I hope so. I offered him more than he got for it, but when he declined my offer, I refused to bid anymore. I wonder if he's regretting it now!!! LOL

837.00 for the pair, plus shipping, plus body...fair price if your needing to sell right now. I dont think that globe would bring 1k at a Iowa Gas auction. My 2c

Kim, What kind of money are you talking for a gray crown? I know where one is but he has been offered some good money for it. Send me an e-mail or PM.

I was runner up on both lenses. I think that was a good price on them. I should have bid more. I would have if I wasn't up to my neck in kitchen remodeling. I shouldn't be bidding on anything but have been wanting one of those globes for a long time. Oh well...maybe the next one...
