I got this sign on a pump I bought. I believe it to be the real deal but the pump did have a repo globe on it so I thought I would check. It has the split type grommets on it, the holes are at 12,4 and 8 vs 2,6 and 10 as I have seen on repos. It is a 8 inch diameter. I plan on keeping it if it is real but if I would sell it I want to represent it the right way. These still bring around 40 bucks or so??

The ethyl logo is the earlier of the ethyl logos-
Need some help here as to what year they changed to the later logo? I think '46 but not sure?

Your Ethyl logo is from 1926- 1942, according to PCM's Guide to Gas Pump Restoration.

Keith-- Last ones that I saw sell on the ebay are still bringing around $80. I've bought a couple on there at $50 but again, condition is everything and yours looks pretty darn good!

I have an identic sign but, there is no MADE IN U.S.A. at the lower edge.
Holes are in same position as on Keiths sign - any thoughts about that?
thanks,
Claes
