I am guessing Graphiti Artist collect Spray paint cans like we collect oil cans. Check out his other auctions thats were I came up with this thought.

well you learn something new every day, guess I need to clean out the shop refrigerator I have some elderly paint cans in there.

...really - is it that hard for someone who collects empty, greasy oil cans to imagine someone collecting old aerosol spray paint cans?...just another form of ephemera...stuff that no one saved, is now scarce because it wasn't saved...
...I got over $700 for a half-empty small display box of Funny Face drink mix once...this spray paint guy is crazy alright...crazy like a fox...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Actually I think it has to do with an ingredient in the paint that teenagers were using to get high or "huff". I believe the paint co's changed the formula and this is one of the old cans. Could be wrong but that may be it on this one.
