The Erie 71 pump that my class and I are restoring needs a totalizer with numbers on it. All of the numbers on the one we have have been worn off over time. I don't know much about the computer other than it is a Veeder-Root serial number 445269. There are no other markings like a model number on it. I'm including a picture of the totalizer that we have. If anyone out there has a totalizer with good numbers on it, please let me know.

I'd also like to thank everyone for the help that they have given us on this pump -- Jim and Dick especially.

As always, we are still looking for a milk glass top for this pump so if anyone out there has any kind of a lead on one, please let me know. Thanks.
Chris

There are several folks out there who have these 56 and 101 computers that may have good wheels in the totalizers.
They will interchange with yours.
The only problem w/ them is they will need to be clean.
If you touch them they might loose the paint.
They need to be clear coated before removal from the totalizer.

If you can get someone to donate a set I will rebuild a totalizer for you as long as you cover return shipping.
approx $5.00

I would like to donate an ERIE sign to the project if you don't have one already, as long as you cover shipping which will be about $17.00
Just PM me the address

If you would like the computer restored, I can do just the head and save you some $ on labor & shipping.
Your crew should be able to handle the variator. I can give you some cleaning tips on it too.
All I have right now is black and white background decals untill RON re-opens.

What color faces will you be using?

Joe -- The picture of the totalizer that you see in the first post in this thread is the one that we currently have. Can you rebuild it and put new numbers on it? If not, it might be smartest and easiest to take Jack up on his offer of a new one. What do you guys think? Also, thanks a bunch for the offer on the sign -- I've looked at them and thought it would be nice to have. Send me your address and I'll mail you a check.

sent PM on address.
I don't have any good wheels.
Veeder Root does not sell them unless they are in an expen$$ive totalizer!!!!!
I had got a few totalizers from Jack a while back and they look nice.
Less all around hassle that way too.
If you wind up needing any other parts for the computer let me know I have over 20 yrs worth.

Coopwyo, Next time you get to Cheyenne give me a call at 6322716. Only in the afternoon because I get up late since I retired I don't do mornings. If you want some silver with black numbers I had some decals made up you can have a set. Mitch

I have a NOS model 56 totalizer. I bought from Jack Sim a few months ago. I can't post a photo until Sunday afternoon. If Joe says that that will work, I will donate it to you, just pick up the shipping for me.

I'm leaving town today to take my wrestling team to a tournament. Thanks to everyone who has offered to help out on this project. I'll get back to you all next week.
