The Oilzum isn't real old, from the late 50s, early 60s. So I would say in the $10-$18 range. Cardboard cans aren't as wanted as much as metal cans.(IMO)
On the Havoline can I agree with Chad, good looking can, but there are a "ton" of later Texaco cans out there.

I read that the WAX FREE began 1934 and the DISTILLED / INSULATED began in 1938. Does that mean the can dates back to 1934 to 1938. I also read that after merger with Texaco they did not use the INDIAN name on gas or oil after 1941. Does this sound correct?

I tried looking at my Texaco guides but they don't have much if anything on the switchover regarding Havoline cans. You need someone like BlackTee who is a "big time" texaco collector to give you a value.

I was just looking at Havoline .com they say Indian Havoline WAXFREE was introduced in 1929 then in 1931 when Texzco aquired them they started to sell Texaco Havoline Waxfree. my question now is when Texaco bought Indian in 1931 was that the last year of the cans with Indian Refining Company on the label? Thanks for your help Not sure how to reach BlackTee maybe he will get this.

Jim Hinds is a member on here from Indiana. He's your go to man on Havoline. Texaco sold Havoline products way before they bought them out in 31. Also your can is 1935 or later, 1935 was the first self contained oil can for Texaco/Havoline. "No Cap" This will give lots of info.... http://www.texacollector.com/history.htmDoug(blackT)

I read entire History very interesting This info compiled by Jim Hinds "WAXFREE" (INDIAN REFINING COMPANY)(ROUND 1-QUART AND 5-QUART CANS) ‘34-’38 ". Being the first self contained can does that affect the value much. What is your estimate.
Thanks alot I am learning quite a bit on this site.

Notrun, I'd keep your day job, being there's no lid on the can. $20.00 (?) I guess I was off by a year. 1934 was the first year of the self contained cans for Texaco.
