When I was growing up in Philiadelphia I used to ride the Frankford El. On its trip into northeast Philly the next to the last two stops were Crew & Levick. They are streets in the Frankford section of Philly. Never thought much of it until I got into this hobby.
Crew-Levic and City Service have a great history in Philly, C-L, now City Service even owns an island in the Delaware River of the Richmond section where they unload tankers. This was visible from where I grew up and again never thought much about it.

John.....if it would help any, I'd be willing to adopt you, then you could collect cans like this one.........

They're not common, but you can find them occasionly. My great great great grandfather's name was James Weir.....not this one, but who's gonna know!!!

Sorry, I didn't mean to mislead anyone. That is just a picture that I copied and saved to file. I don't even remember where it came from. At least now I know something about it.
It has my name on it so that is how I happened to have the picture.

John;
Have you taken a drive to try and find the location of the old Refinery yet?

John,
I would start my search here: at this asphalt plant in Troy Indiana. They may know the history of the Jarvis Refinery, if they are operating on the same grounds.
They may even have old photos.
