Hi, I am a new member. I recently picked up a 1969 southwest model T-1 pump to restore for my shop at home, can anyone tell me what oil company[s] used these? It looks like it was blue and white with alot of aluminum trim on the sides. Also it was converted to be able to register a dollar price amount. Since I am a firefighter I was thinking of turning it into a Fire Chief pump. Thanks Tom

WELCOME TO OLDGAS
Blue & white could have been PURE, GULF, STANDARD, ESSO, EXXON or ???
Like WE all say, IT'S YOUR PUMP, paint it anyway you want.

Howdy Tom,
I am new to gas pumps so I do not have any answers for you. I like your idea of the Fire Chief. Like db says It's Your Pump! The reason I found this site is my Tokheim Model 39 tall. It has Chevron Supreme ad glass and it has had at least 3 color changes in its life. It will get one more color change to match my shop. It will not be original but it will still be mine. Welcome to an awesome site!
Mike

I did a Gilbarco 96C pump in old-style Esso Extra. The dark blue that was used was for a VW circa 1970, '71--something like that. It matched the original color swatch perfectly. The white was "Seadoo" white which was very clean. That combo looked sooooooo awesome.
