I should know this by now, but who on here can design and make me some water transfer decals?

Thanks,
Brian

Brian:

Mike could get some made for you - but if you only need a few for a pump project, the costs will be way too high.

Once you create the artwork (costs for the artist), then you have to make a seperate screen for each color (more costs for the film positives and the actual screens), then you print the decals (even more costs for the material and the time to do the screening).

With the 'set-up' costs and the artwork costs, it's not economical to only do a few. Once you are set up for the decal, you want to print a good quantity at one time.

However . . .

There is a new product that allows you to create your own water transfer decals. I have not tried it but the web site makes it sound like it should work. I'd strongly suggest doing one and trying it out on a test panel to make sure your 'clear' won't ruin it before applying them to your finished sheet metal.

Check out www.beldecal.com/inkjet_decals.cfm

You have the option of only buying a few sheets at a time to try it out. Then all you would need is the artwork.

Later . . .

Jim

It is a good product. FALLOW INSTRUCTIONS & apply extra sealer coats. DIE CUT AFTER SEALING.
