I will bet Honda uses that one for a while and not just for the Super Bowl. Saw a Wayne 505. See if we can name them all.

This is disgraceful. The foreign car makers are getting rich from American dollars. We Americans are stupid enough to keep buying them, putting American money into foreign economies, while at the same time losing jobs here. Now the sickening foreign car companies are using American nostalgia in their commercials???? I for one am glad I missed it because I wave the flag of America, and I DRIVE AMERICAN AND I ALWAYS WILL NO MATTER WHAT. The notion of someone buying an Asian car is sickening. I know the usual half baked answer: "they are building them here"
WRONG ANSWER!!!!!!!! While the foreign car makers have put some plants here and supplied some jobs to American workers, they have displaced 15 times more workers than they have employed. This is not according to me, but this is according to the US government BLS (bureau of labor statistics as of 2004). I am sick and tired of seeing Japanese cars on the American roads as the PROFITS go to the Japanese economy! NOT the American economy!!!
One reason I collect gas and oil items is to keep some of the good old days of American history alive in some small way.

I guess I'll leave my Toyota pickup at home next gas bash...wouldn't want it vandalized. Does make you wonder for how long "American automakers" will remain such....Chrysler is now German owned.

Its too bad the American car makers didn't invest more money over the years into their plants when times were good and not so good. Now they are closing down aging facilities that are really bashing many people who worked at such plants for a long time. The blame doesn't lie with the car buying public who only want the best quality and value for their money but in the corporate board rooms of major auto companies. The Boards of Directors sold out their workers, not consumers.
