This was on ebay as a Bike Fender Ornament, what exactly is it from, A Trophy maybe, It has a threaded stud on the bottom. I would like to get one if anybody has one. Thanks, Rick

I used to have one of those....it screwed down to a five point shield that was a ash tray.

I also used to own one of these that was part of an ashtray about 20 years ago. However, both the ashtray and Pegasus were a reproduction...even back then. My memory is that the repro ashtray was round, and that the Pegasus seemed a little "thin", and had a fair amount of flashing from the casting process. I'm not making a comment about the eBay piece, just tossing out a firsthand experience here. Best, John

Thank you, I had a call from one person who said it was an early Radiator Cap ornament, as was pictured in an older Mobil book, could that be?

I don't believe it would have been part of a radiator cap. All the ones I have dealt with, were one piece molded. Don't want to have the ornament work itself off and separate from the cap while driving. But one should "never, say never".
