I picked up these two different versions of Self Serve Signs from a Texaco bulk plant. I have the orginal frames and instructions. There are four panels of each version and they made a square or cube that hung out on the island. These have never been used and came about when self service became popular inthe 70s. They are very heavy. What are they worth as a complete unit? Should I just hang one version of each and sell the others without the frames? Appreciate your thoughts.

I have a red one like you have Pictured and a Blue one also Paid $40 for the Red one and $25 for the Blue one a couple years back. My Signs are in Decent shape, but you can tell they have been used.

I would say your red signs may be in the $75-$100 range each since they are NOS. The Green ones look newer to me maybe worth a little Less, but the Conoco & Sinclair collectors may like them since they are Green.

If you have the room for them, I would keep and display a set for your self. And make a Texaco display with some other Texaco stuff.

Thanks, Jason. I have seen pictures of Texaco stations with both of these versions. I wonder if the sign company that made these made several versions and gas stations just used the type that matched their marketing needs. Any thoughts on i should keep them whole with the frames or just separate gthe signs??

Hi Hi-Octane. I have a number of Texaco items and will probably do what you suggest.
