I went today to check on a Phillips sign that was at an old garage that I had seen. No one was there, but I saw a couple of lubsters and an old air meter sitting beside the building. I haven't been able to find a good picture of one, but the best I can tell it's an AirECO 39,(dial on top wi/large round bottom section) it appears to have the number dial and all the sheet metal, with only surface rust. Any thoughts on what this may be worth? or photos'?
tks
Tony

If its a model 39 it should say tireflator across the front. It could also be an eco 19. The tag for the 19 is on the front. I am not shure of value, as I have just started collecting air meters. I would geuss if its complete maybee $1000 not shure though. I dont know how desireble they are. If you get it and decide to sell it I may be intersted. I see you are a ways from me so shipping might be a problem.
Thanks
Brandon

Well, bad news, the guy wants to keep the air meter. Good part though, I did get a couple of lubsters and a 1959 double sided 4' Phillips 66 sign with the frame for hanging, this wasn't even the sign that I'd originally seen.

Steve, I'm located about 20 miles north west of Cape Girardeau. I see your from Rolla, do you know anything about the guy outside of Cuba that has all the signs? I've stopped by his place at least 3 times and haven't ever caught anyone at home.

his name is Bob Mullen, he has a business in Cuba called ABC...they sell furniture, trailers, equipment, etc. I've only known him to buy, never had anything for sale. This is the guy with all the pumps lit up at night. There are about 4 places along I-44 in Missouri that have petro oozing out of them!
