I found an old picture of my great, great grandfather and the gas station he used to own in Michigan. I don;t knwo the exact where-abouts only that it is no longer there from what I have been told. In the photo it shows the tall pumps with the 10 Gal. visible glass and the one of the globes reads White Rose Gasoline arched around the globe and then in the center of the globe it says en-ar-co motor oil. The other globe says Wolverine Gas with a checkered center. There is also a coule of rectangle signs that say en-ar-co Motor Oil. Does anyone have globes or signs like this, or other photos? I have done the ebay seach and found white rose with the rose picture, and alos found some en-ar-co motor oil cans, but no signs or similar globes.
Thanks!

This is a scan from the globe book by Benjamin and Henderson. This is a metal body version. The globe was also made as a one piece glass version. Does your photo look like this?

YES! that is the globe! do they make repro's of it? Is there any model numbers that I can use to search for that globe? When I get it scanned I will upload it for all to see.

No repos on this globe. It is a 15" lens with metal body. Was used 1915-18 although they could have still been in use after this date in many locations.

the wolverine gas I'm thinking is due to thew fact that it was a Michigan Gas station "Home of the Wolverines", maybe? I ran across that canadian website last night, but didn;t see the white rose/enarco logo I was looking for. Are there any scans of the all glass white rose/enargo globe?
