Hello, my name is Jean-Paul. I live in France near Paris. I own a '67 Mustang and my wife has a '81 Sheriff Mustang. (I'm not sure it is the good subject to present myself) Last year I made the Route66 trip from Chicago to L.A. and since that I fall in love with all these old things. Recently I bought a french SATAM gas pump from 1959 and a Tokheim 448 from 1961. I've many questions about the Tokheim model, but I keep them for an other day !

Welcome to the site. There are more than a few members from your side of the pond, here. We like photos, so please share. If you need help in posting photos here, there is a tutorial at the top of this forum and in the testing forum. The testing forum is an excellent area to "practice" posting photos, also.
If you still aren't comfortable with posting, sing out and most of us will be more than happy to post photos for you.

Jean Paul, Welcome. Having traveled Old Route 66 as well, it can bring out the collector hidden away in just about anyone. Glad you like the good stuff. There are quite a few collectors of Gas/Oil in England,Europe and as of late, New Zealand and Austrailia. It's a fun hobby. Good luck with your searches. Best regards, Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Welcome to Oldgas.com Shop Talk, Jean-Paul. I share your interest in old gas pumps, Route 66 and Mustangs. I've seen parts of Route 66 and hope to do more in the coming years. Here is a picture of my 67 Mustang convertible. Notice the license plate.
