Has anyone ever seen a Wayne 70 with a visi? Do you think this is original? The visi looks like a Wayne 40A. It is on craigs list http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/clt/1689239073.html

It's a Wayne 577-R, shown on page 329 of my Gas Pump Identification book. It was made from 1941-1949. Originally it was a non-computing pump. Someone probably put a regular computer in it because they couldn't find any good faces to put on it.

According to the picture the visi is the correct one.

One more thing, the years 1941-1949 is probably because they put these together using parts they already had, because most of their production was war material.

Also shown on this page of my website: http://www.petrolianacollectibles.com/wayne%20577r.htm

I've seen that exact same pump...normal computer and everything...on a farm about twenty miles from me. From what I could see, it was all original. Kind of a neat pump.
