hi everyone. well heres the story. I bought a 15" mobilgas special lense from Bpb Drake awhile ago and have been looking for another lense to complete the globe. I spotted one on ebay..it was mounted in a shadow box with a picture of an old station. I bid and won it. Today it arrives and I carefully disassembled the picture frame and carefully removed it from its "siliconed" in display ( I learned not to use the "PRY" method from my buddy Jarvis..thanks John) well..as it turns out. This lense is a 16.5" lense...LOL. Now I am looking for a 15" AND a 16.5 lense to complete these globes. If anyone out there in collector land has either one of these single lenses and would like to sell or trade for other stuff...I would be interested. Thanks for reading my globe story / wanted post.
