I have a Milwaukee visual pump outside of my garage. I know nothing about it. Was told they are rare. It is compleat and I have a page from it's advertisment saying..."A gallon each pump", or something like that...it is framed and on the wall inside the garage along with all the other auto memorabilia..... I took the original glass off of it and replaced the Standard crown globe and glass cylinder with repros, stored the originals.... Does anyone know anything about it??? I am retiring-selling-moving...gas pump???...will not leave it with the property. Geeze, I have parts for old cars I do not even own anymore...some NOS. Large box of dealer books from the 60's...you name it...years of collecting. I do not know where to start.

Was delighted to find out the pump I have is a Milwaukee 10-10 pump....How about that...had to shake out the cobwebs of this old mind to (with wonderful help) remember.
Thanks so much... Now to find out more about the enamaled signs, signed prints, dealer models, collection of bi-centenial plates, and other items in the glass display cases
Can those old Crown globes be repainted??? The original I have has little of the original red paint on it. Or is it better to just leave it "as is" or value destroyed as with so many other things....????
Just gotta get pics taken.....no one buys a "pig in a poke"...

Crown can be re-painted, but not worth Your time as it won't raise the value when you sell it & could lower the value if not done correctly.

Contact Matthews Auction Services for liquidating, you won't be sorry.

You could advertise this stuff for sale here on Old Gas, as there are a lot of collectors on this site or you can do as Dick suggested and contact a reputable auction service like Matthews, that specializes in this type of collectibles. Whatever you do, keep us posted here on Old Gas as a lot of the members are really interested in old gas station memorabilia! Good luck!---KEVIN
