WISH I COULD HELP, KMANN. I'D LIKE TO DO "INVADER" BUT THERE IS "0" INFO OUT THERE ON THIS COMPANY. THEN AGAIN, LET'S REMEMBER THAT I'VE ALREADY DONE KENDALL, TEXACO AND QUAKER STATE!
INVADER WOULD BE EASY IF I ONLY HAD THE INFO.
C'MON OLDGASSERS, LET'S BE PROUD OF OUR OIL COMPANY HISTORIES. THERE ARE PLENTY COMPANIES STILL TO BE DONE!
...SO GET~R~DONE!

I don't think a detailed history of a company is necessary to do COTM. If there is not much known about a company put it out there anyway and maybe something will surface from someone elses collection. Just get it started and lets see if the members have something from that company to share.
What about doing a company of the month on small marketers from each (or select) states. I know I have several items from several small Colorado oil companies I would like to share but these companies were too small to justify their own COTM. But as a group a Oriental, Fargo, Cliff Brice, Autolene, Summit, Sommers, Gem, Speedway, Motoroyal, Bay (I'm sure I'm missing a few but you get the point) COTM might be interesting. Just throwing it out there. Any input?

OMG!!!! What has this come to? I'm with Chris on this one. Thats what scares me. I've got a thing or two from Far-Go, so if somebody will host a Colorado state oil company thing, I'm in.
Anything Chevron I'd rather be flying.....

I thought about doing the colorado thing a while ago but time slipped away. I am in... I am sure we can get speedway ron to help and I have a few photos of some other collectors stuff. Can we do powerine again, joking... but maybe not ;-) ------------------ Scott Wright- http://www.frontrangegas.com/powerine.htm
