There are so many different markers out there for visible pumps that I thought it would be helpful for everyone restoring a pump to know what the correct markers would look like. Would anyone else be interested in seeing Old gas starting an album titled Vintage Gallon markers?

GREAT IDEA Tim,
as a lot of markers were replaced with what ever the re-builders/service company had in stock @ the time.

Good idea, this is sort of why I put so many outside sight glasses in my last GP book.

If Jim doesn't want to put them here on Old Gas, I'll be glad to add them to my website. Maybe we could add the length of the rods used also.

I used to sell brass rods but got out of that, maybe if someone does we could give them a plug like we do Joe on the VRs.

That sounds like a useful idea, Tim. I could start a new album inside the Gas Pump Image Album.

Site glasses could be an album too!

If you know what the markers are for, let me know. If not, we'll talk about it on Shop Talk and get 'em identified.
