I bought 2 signs like what you are saying at Peotone and 2 people said to soak them in warm soapy water in the bathtub for a little while upside down and I was able to just use my fingers and the paper peeled off fairly easy. Lenny

I have had good luck using warm water and hand soap (Like go-jo) in the past. DO NOT use dish soap!!! it will attack older paint.

I prefer to do a small spot at a time vs. soaking the entire sign, that way you can control that area.

I FIND THAT SPRITZING IT WITH SOME WD-40 AND LETTING IT SIT FOR A WHILE HELPS THE RELEASE PROCESS WORK AS WELL.
