I saw a Tokheim #785 for sale and quickly determined it was a "yard" type pump. In this case a lumber yard used it for fueling their own fleet. I think it displays Gallons only on the dial. Are these things generally worth any effort? They want $60.00. Thanks

I am not familiar with that model of pump. If it is a newer style of pump, I would grab it for 60.00. Seems like the "newer style" pumps sell better as time goes on.

FREEDOM oil items wanted.

I've had a couple of these in the past. One was new old stock and in the crate. Both were truck diesel pumps and had two complete pumps and electric motors for high speed and high volumn delivery. It is worth whatever someone wants to pay. If I remember correctly, I sold both to a trucking company in Baltimore for use in their lot. Got around $500.00 for the lot,as they needed a working pump right away. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Although it is not the greatest pump or the most collectable it will make good trading stock if it works. I have had a few farmers say they would part with a older pump if they had a newer electric pump to replace it. Plus most of them have said they would trade for it even up. That would make it $60 well invested smile
