Here is a GLF Quality globe I bought a while back. When I got it the original body was broken at the base & it was extremely dirty around the edge. I wanted to remove the lens but this posed to be a little challenging since it was calked in. The calking was very hard like window putty. I was worried about breaking the lens when doing this too. I used a small pointed razor blade to first go around the edge of the lens & remove the weathered putty. I then sprayed WD-40 around the edge of the lens to help soften & loosen the putty. After a few days I went back to it with the razor blade. In about a hour I had the lens loose "in one piece" & ready to clean. After some cleaning to remove the excess putty & a good cleaning on the lens here it is on its new body. I was glad it was not badly damaged where the dark spots are on the bottom. So it came out better than I hoped BEFORE AFTER

Hey Brad, you getting tired of storing that pump yet? I am going to have to get over your way and pick it up. Should I be concerned about the storage bill? LOL
