CHECK THIS ONE OUT ON E-BAY 400119259607 . IT HAS A DATE OF 1992 ON THE BOTTOM OF THE SIGN, BUT IT LOOKS OLD . RED FLAG OR WHAT?

I don't feel that is the date?(probably a factory code)
The sign is too aged...
I think this sign is original....
HOWEVER, the seller is known for selling reproductions as originals! So don't buy ANYTHING from Treasureray!!!
Time to boycott ANYONE selling repos as originals...
We need to make a list of names of sellers KNOWN to sell repos and EVERYONE add them to the blocked list on ebay!
They sell original signs along with the repos YET people keep bidding on the originals! I say let's avoid these crooks and boycott them all together!

No--Thats not the date of manufacture. I've seen that a lot of times on old Standard Oil signs. Its some kind of manufacturing code for the company that made the sign. Someone else can probably answer this better. I wouldn't bid on it anyway cause its from Treasureray. I passed on a mint Prestone thermometer the other day because he was the seller!
