My good friend Larry Robertson had a heart attack yesterday. They did a catheter on him today and he needs quadruple bipass surgery.I know a few people on here know Larry and hope you keep him and Ruth in your prayers.I'll be seeing him tomorrow to try and cheer him up a little. He is at Mercy General Hospital in Muskegon,Mi 49444.Larry has been in the pump business longer than most in this hobby as he worked for the Bennett pump company in Muskegon for a long time and now traveles to many shows selling the pumps he once made by restoring them to their glory.

Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family at this time. Met him on my first trip to Iowa with my son who was a young kid and is now 30. Was very kind to us and we wish him well.

I will always remember the pump wraps that his wife made for him to transport the restored pumps. They are like pillow cases for pumps and keep all the dirt and bugs off the pumps while they are in the back of his trailer.

I pray his recovery is quick!

Larry and family will be in my prayers tonight. Lots of folks get those bypass operations and come out very well. Hope Larry is one of them.

Met Larry back around 1990. He was at Iowa Gas every year. Went to his house outside Muskegon once. Nicest guy, always ready with sime kind of a quip.
LARRY, we'll see you at Iowa in August.
