hollo everyone! Im new to the site and just started collecting about a year ago. while visiting sales around the neighbor hood I found a old sign ring I thought would hold my bent up red crown gas sign and straighten it up. the holder had a peices of metal in the ring that the owner used to sell local produce on the farm. I bought it and took it home. when I took out the screws holding the old farm sign I was suprised to see not 1 but 2 texaco filling station signs sandwiched together face to face. these are in I would say about as nice as you can get. beautiful color and very few chips in the porcelan. I have been searching to find a value but I have only come up with a relative date and small history on them which has me pretty excited. any ideas? oh by the way I spent $100.00 on my find.

Well you have one of the harder Texaco signs there to find in good shape. Those are worth a couple grand each at the least. It would be easy to say that you got the buy of the year there!!!!!!!!! grin
