I have a chance to buy a 5 foot double sided porcelain NEON Skelly sign. The sign itself is in good shape probably a 8.5 but the neon is all gone. What is this sign worth in this shape. The seller will not price it to me.
Thanks
Keith

Hey check on the price, I got one yesterday the same sign I think. that was covered in paint I am stripping it right now and then I'll post it. I paid 50.00 and it has some holes punched in it I think was for neon but it has some bent corners its probably a 6.5-7.5, See what you think and if anybody knows the value I'm intrested also.

Factory made Skelly neon's should have the "Skelly" raised letters or somewhat embossed. The manufacturing of the sign resembles the "66" on the Phillips neons.
Collect small Oklahoma Oil Co.'s 1920's-1940's. Barnsdall, Cushing, Eason, Marland, etc.
