Here is a Musgo Globe that is coming up at a auction. I'm thinking repo...I have never looked at the real deal..  Any opinions? Randy

I know each globe was painted by an artist so no 2 are identical and I have seen an original but the color and look of the paint does not look right in my opinion.

Just an opinion - but it looks to me like one of the reproductions that came out of Brighton Michagan a few years ago.
I'd sure want a guarentee from the auction company on the originality of the piece before I bid on-line. Better yet would be to attend the auction and actually hold the piece in your hands.
New glass has a totally different surface than an old 'weathered' glass body.

I dont think the colors look right either. There is something to it that just say repo. Just can not pin point it
