I'm looking for information on the Gilbert and Barker self measuring pump, Type 88 Model 2. If anyone has some history on this, when it was manufactured, I would greatly appreciate the information. The pump is on an old abandoned homestead and I'm trying to piece together the function this pump would have had there, it is co-located with a Woodmanse windmill.

Welcome to the site. I would suggest you contact Jack Sim and ask if he has some info on this G&B pump. In his 2nd edition he has the G&B 88 with a 1908 manufacture date and a value of $350.
