Jason, the logo sure has striking resemblance of the Freedom bulldog that you're familiar with. Looks like 20's to 30's can to me, but I'm just guessing.

Jason, I've never seen one either. Based on it's lack of subject matter and interest, I will take off your hands for say..... $12.50 and you pay the freight to my front door. Really how can you pass up such a "special deal"? A great looking can!

Later, this company was merged with the Climax Refining Company to for the Climax-Western Oil Company. Their main office was in Minneapolis. I think the can would be worth a good bit to someone who collects 1 gallon flat cans. I have never seen one either. 200-300 maybe? Cool find. If you have the pink globe book, there is a "Bull-dog pep" globe in the independents section on a metal body. I am assuming a real early piece. Hope that helps a little.

That is one fantastic can! I too would love to buy it!! I have some more information on the company at home. I'll update you on it later. Off the top of my head, I believe there were two companies (Climax and Western, which merged to form Climax Western).
