IMO, there are at least three different bases that may fit - the 96 base being the highest, 996 a little lower and the 906 the lowest. I have not tried this myself, just adding the pictures so you can compare with your own 906. Br Claes GB 96 base Gilbarco 996 base

You'll probably have to fabricate the lower door hooks that are made into the stamped base.....as the cast do not have these. All mine have been missing? Simple job to do though.
