Pretty much , you have one of many that were made for Gulf Oil company exclusively. Well, at least the cabinet is a Gulf exclusive . The pumping Mechinisim was used in several other Eries in the 60's . Ed Shaver

i am new to the vintage pump scene.. can anybody give me a value of this pump if it is restored? and would it hurt its value if i decide to go with something other than "gulf" for this pump... i am not a collector it would only be for my garage right now but who knows in the future.. i was thinking of doing a texaco skycheif theme and putting a globe on top..let me know your thoughts please...

IMHO, this is not "the" most valuable pump, so my advice would be - do what you think you would like the most. You can keep it for as long as you like and sometime in the future, someone will by it for what it is.
