Chris, I'm no nicer than the next guy, I can assure you. Since I found out I've got cancer, things that go wrong for the most part aren't as "earth shattering" as I used to make them out to be.

Before I would have thrown a real tantrum. But honestly, I have the stick and as Mike noted it now has a little more "character".



You can see how much longer it is compared to my gas gauge sticks and my yardsticks.

Not sure how these photos will post, but here are some close ups of the sticks and the breaks;

The backside of the stick looks bad because of the epoxy and loss of some of the wood. To me the front side with the cracks has now even more "character", but I wouldn't have minded at all not having this much "character" on the stick. LOL
