I had a few hours this past weekend and decided to give my driveway pump a new look. I bought this pump 12 years ago in the middle of nowhere KS for $15.00, brought it home, did a quick Krylon job and bolted it down. It was starting to show it's age and I had the extra decal so I bought a $2.99 can of Krylon (on sale) and gave it a fresh look. Total investment about $20.00.

Looks mighty fine.

I'm liking the look of under-restored pumps more and more.

I really like that look, would be interesting to see how it looks from about 3 feet away and in person. Did you have to prep the surface much before spraying?

I might try that with one of mine for sitting out by the barn, less expensive than taking it to the body shop for that high gloss look.
