These were built in Hot Springs Arkansas they were used at various places and sold to anyone and everyone who thought they had the need for a roadside guy or gal to lure in customers. I have seen several over the last few years. They are very cool!

Did you do all the paint work? Looks awesome. That Erie 77 before and after is killer. I am going to have to put that pump on my list of must have.

the add glass is hand painted. i do that sometimes on pumps. that is done by a guy i've been working with for years now. he's an amazing pin striper and artist. He hand paints everything with "oneshot" paint over the basecoat/clearcoat. i love those Erie 77's, and do them all the time. i think they have the best face plates. and they are a huge pump that is impressive. If your going to get one, make sure the door hinges are in good shape, that's the only potential pain in the a** with that pump. everything else on it is pretty easy to restore. and when you take the doors off, I'd mark where the screws are on the hinge...can be a real pain in the butt to get lined up right once putting it back together. The only other item that has given me a challenge, is on one of them, the "on/off" switch inside the electrical box was broken and i had to fab up pieces to make it work. I don't know if anyone has those "push/pull" switches, but if they did, that would be good to know. it's nice to have the outside rod working to turn it on and off. If you ever want a hand painted add glass or something, PM me and i can get it done for you. it's not expensive and gives the pump a nice custom look. chuck

Just to add to the conversation, I bought this pump from Chuck in Hershey this Oct. ( Neptune 877, Red Feather Oil Co. Wyoming )face plates were hand painted with feathers on them, pin stipped down the sides and base, great ad glass, the globe is from Dwaine Buck ( 14 colours to the globe and decals) ,, he also had the lady and that Erie at the show, he does great work and I'm very happy with my pump,, thanks Chuck for a great deal,,
