I have been scanning the web sites for the parts needed for my Fry pump and notice on the handle some say "machining required or not drilled". One site ask if you need square or double D for the reproduction handle. Mine is definitely the double D. My question is, how would you drill this or is this something that a machine shop needs to do? Thanks

I would bring to a machine shop. Although there is a rectangular style on Ebay now.

Here is a picture of the hole on the ebay one. Is this not the Double D? The price with shipping is getting close to a reproduction one.

Aggie- I would but the real one for up to double the cost of a reproduction. You can't beat the real deal.

Most repo's will have to be done by someone w/ a mill. I agree w/ Scott.

Ok had a few fry's and thought either sqaure or rectangular attachment point. I had one that slid over and had a threaded bolt to attach. Is that the double D or what is for future reference.

I machine in the double D on the ones I sell for $65. They do not have the original style cylinder and rod shown in the 'feebay' photo. Good luck on the auction. Ron
