I just saw that and I went back and read Scotts article on them. There are no known originals out there. They were repoped in the 1980's


Originals only for me. Always looking for Simpson oil, Super A, and MFA oil cans and globes.

Not sure how old Scott's article is but there are a few originals out there. My wife and I are friends with both of the surviving daughters of the father that owned the Wake Up oil company and they proudly display the globes in their homes along with other memorabilia from the company. Most were on Glass Bodies.

I am sure they would be happy to let me take a few photo's of their collection of items. I will take my camera with me next time over and snap a few shots. I may have to send them to you I have the worst luck trying to post pics on here.
