Hi All
This is Bob Hale and by the grace of God and my wife and daughter I was able to be at Iowa Gas this year. My wife (Sandie) and daughter (Tammi) loaded and unloaded and set the booth up and took care of business and me!
I want to thank everyone who came by and said hi and many said they had been following my two year journey. I'm doing better now. I just don't have much strength and get tired easily. Anyway seeing all of you and knowing that you care meant a lot to me.
I wanted to try and meet some of the oldgassers that I haven't but didn't even make it outside. Also spent 2 or 3 hours resting in the room so might have missed you then. I did meet Kevin Frith and had a few conversations with him. Seems to be a real nice guy.

Thanks again for stopping by the ballroom and lifting my spirits!!
Bob Hale

Glad you could attend, Bob. Recovery is a step-by-step process and I'm sure you enjoyed doing as much as you did. Getting out and doing something "normal" is a boost to the spirit. Hope you continue to get stronger.

I also wished I had known you were there.
Not being use to That kind of Humidity/Heat, this is me trying to cool down on Tuesday about noon [pic taken by Wes Maxwell]. After a cool shower, 2-3 hrs later I was back outside & moving much slower !

I saw you sitting there DB and tried to help with a chair and a cold beer/water. It was so hot on Tuesday my mini bike I was riding experienced vapor lock and had to be parked. That was a first.

I want to thank everyone who bid on my items at the auction. I was quite disappointed but should have known better to hold an auction with todays economy. MANY items went for 1/3 of what they should have but it is what it is. Thanks much for what you all did anyway

Ray, I had the same thing happen with the auction I put my stuff into. Its tough to see the prices that things went for even though there were a few winners in mine. I even had to turn the auction off the computer, I was just getting sick. You just never know and I know that your stuff was probably top stuff. At least you have the knowledge and where with all to replentish your collection.
