I picked this up at an antique store in Walnut, IA the other day. It's 25" X 25" DSP. I'm curious about the four holes at the bottom of the sign. They have brass grommets. What are they for ? Did this sign have wings attached ?

Could be displayed as a Curb or hanging sign, either way.
Sign wasn't For Sale when I was there [displayed in front window on West side of street].

Wings would indicate "aviation"--definitely would not say"motor oil" if that was the case.
